Guardian glass break sensor

Glass Break Detector

It's no surprise that intruders use windows to gain access to your home. When in the "armed away" mode, this device detects the sound frequency generated by breaking glass within its range of detection. Our glass break detectors may be used on many types of glass (tempered, laminated, plate glass) and windows (casement, double-hung, sliding doors).

Why choose this device?

Monitored glass break detectors can be beneficial in rooms with many ground level or easy-to-reach windows that may not necessarily be suited for a window sensor device. When integrated properly into a security system, glass break detectors can add an extra layer of peace of mind.

How it works

Because of the way in which they operate, glass break detectors are normally placed on the ceiling, on the opposite side or on the same wall as the windows on which you want to focus. When activated, your glass break detector will cause a siren to sound and will send an emergency signal to our monitoring center who is capable of notifying the authorities based on your pre-established protocol.

Instantly receive a notification when your glass break detector has been activated, so that you can be aware of the event right away.

Alerts you via event-driven text or email notifications.

Operates on a wireless transmission technology.

Sends emergency signals to Guardian's 24-hour Central Station.

Allows for remote control from your web-connected smartphone, tablet or PC individually and/or as part of your security system.
