Free* Home Security System with Camera Purchase

Residential:

*This offer is valid only on a new Guardian Protection Services essentials security system package and camera purchased between 11/20/2024 and 12/4/2024. Customer must purchase one of the following video cameras to receive a free essentials security system package: an indoor camera (model ADCV515), an outdoor camera (model ADCV724), a floodlight camera (model ADCV729), a wired doorbell (model ADCVDB770), or a wireless doorbell (model ADCVDB780B).

The free essential security system package consists of one (1) security panel, four (4) door/window sensors, one (1) motion detector, and one (1) smoke detector. This offer is subject to (1) Customer having internet and Wi-Fi service that will properly service all components of the system, (2) credit approval, (3) Customer entering into a qualifying Monitoring Agreement and a Sales and Installation Agreement at the time of purchase, (4) recurring, electronic charge to Customer’s checking or savings account for monitoring service charges and any other amounts owed, and (5) payment.

The Monitoring Agreement must include a minimum term of 60 months, a minimum monthly rate of $59.99, and an early termination charge. Customer may purchase additional equipment not included in this offer by paying in full for the additional equipment at the time of sale or over four consecutive equal payments using the Flex Pay program. No Annual Contract Option

Offer subject to full payment and customer entering into qualifying Sales and Installation and Monitoring Agreements with Guardian Protection Services at the time of purchase.  Customer must purchase for $999 a “4-1-1-1” security system package, which includes one IQ control panel, one motion detector, four door/window sensors, and the Customer’s choice of one of the following: one smoke detector, one heat sensor, one carbon monoxide detector, or one flood sensor. The Monitoring Agreement must include a minimum term of one-month, which term will automatically continue on a month-to-month basis if not terminated, and an early termination charge equal to the monthly fee in effect at the time of early termination.  Customer must pay in full at the time of purchase for any additional equipment that is not included in the “4-1-1-1” security system package.  This offer cannot be combined with any other offer, transferred, or redeemed for cash.  Images are for illustrative purposes and may not reflect the exact product/service actually provided. 

Additional Charges When Applicable

Alarm Verification Service (Guard Service)

If your municipality requires verification of an alarm at the premises by a third-party guard service, you will be charged for this verification service according to your contract.

Service Copay

Service calls may require a co-pay of (a) $75 for residential or (b) $99 for commercial in addition to any time and materials and non-warranty repair charges.

Missed Appointment Charge

You may reschedule or cancel a scheduled service or other appointment prior to the technician’s arrival at the appointment location.  If you have not done so and you are unable to keep the appointment when the technician arrives, you will be charged (a) $75 for a residential appointment, or (b) $99 for a commercial appointment.

Non-Warranty Repair Service Charges

Residential Service Rates

Normal Business Hour Rates: Monday – Saturday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Minimum trip charge of $75; plus each 15 minutes of on-site time will be billed at $30.

Emergency Rates: Outside of normal business hours and holidays

Minimum service charge of $180, which includes travel and first half hour of on-site time. Each additional 15 minutes will be billed at $45.

Commercial Service Rates

Normal Business Hour Rates: Monday – Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Minimum service charge of $199, which includes travel and first half hour of on-site time. Each additional 15 minutes will be billed at $50.

Emergency Rates: Outside of normal business hours and holidays

Minimum service charge of $250 which includes travel and first half hour of on-site time. Each additional 15 minutes will be billed at $55.

Guardian Protection Automatic Payment Program Terms

By enrolling in Guardian’s automatic payment program (the “Program”) and providing your credit card, debit card, or financial account information (each, a “Payment Form”), you authorize Guardian and your financial institution or credit card issuer (each, a “Financial Institution”) to charge the Payment Form, including through an automated clearing house (or “ACH”), each month for your monthly bill amount on the payment due date, or, if applicable, on an annual, semi-annual, quarterly, or other regular interval for the corresponding bill amount.  Guardian will provide you with a copy of your authorization and these terms electronically and/or in paper form.

You certify you are the owner of the Payment Form and have the authority to authorize charges to it.  If there is a change in the Payment Form or related information (e.g., a change in account information or a credit card expiration date), you must notify Guardian at least 10 days in advance of such change and provide all updated information.  Guardian may also receive updated information from your Financial Institution.

Your authorization applies to the Payment Form on file and any subsequent information you provide to Guardian (e.g., by contacting Guardian’s customer service or through your online account) or your Financial Institution provides to Guardian.  Guardian reserves the right to modify all terms and conditions of the Program, including terminating the Program, at any time.  Guardian does not charge for the Program, but you should check with your Financial Institution for any additional charges. 

Your authorization and the Program will remain in effect until revoked by you, Guardian, or your Financial Institution.  You may revoke your authorization by contacting Guardian at 1.800.PROTECT (1.800.776.8328), or through your online account.  The revocation will take effect once Guardian has had a reasonable opportunity to act on it.  If you revoke your authorization or your Financial Institution does not process your automatic payment to Guardian, you remain responsible for paying your bill amount by the due date.  In addition, Guardian may charge a returned item fee and remove your account from the Program.  If your Financial Institution does not process your automatic payment, Guardian may retry the transaction.  Any promotional discounts or incentives that require your enrollment in the Program will be removed if your account is not enrolled in the Program or Guardian does not receive your automatic payment when due.

You have authorized Guardian to treat Your electronic signature and/or initials as evidence of your consent to initiate recurring electronic payment transactions from your Payment Form.  This authorization by electronic signature has the same effect as a handwritten signature on a paper contract.  Your consent only applies to the initiation of the recurring electronic payment transactions from your Payment Form on the payment due date.

You consent to receive all notices, billing statements, disclosures, documents, and communications relating to the Program, including your authorization and the Payment Form (collectively, “Communications”), from Guardian in electronic form via your email address of record on file with Guardian.  To receive electronic Communications, you agree to maintain a functioning device with an internet connection that can receive, retain, and print the Communications.  You may request a paper copy of a Communication by contacting Guardian at 1.800.PROTECT (1.800.776.8328) or the correspondence address on your bill.  Where permitted by law, Guardian may charge a fee for a paper copy, which fee will be disclosed at the time of Your request.  You can withdraw your consent and receive Communications on paper by calling or writing Guardian as indicated above.  If your email address or other electronic contact information changes, you must promptly provide Guardian with updated information by calling or writing Guardian as indicated above.  If Guardian is unable to deliver a Communication electronically, Guardian may attempt to contact you by telephone or other means.

Professional Monitoring Average Response Time

For the 12-month period ending October 31, 2023, the average response time of Guardian’s monitoring center is 12.7 seconds.
