At times, due to building maintenance, it may be necessary to place a disregard on a fire zone or your entire fire alarm system. Guardian Protection follows NFPA72 guidelines, which allow fire systems and zones to be placed on a disregard for no longer than 24 hours at a time.

If longer than 24 hours is needed, we recommend that you reach out to your local municipality’s fire marshal for additional information and signed paperwork confirming they are aware and approve of an extended disregard.
