It was a little after 11 p.m. I was ready for bed, but because my dog was acting strangely, I looked out the window – and was terrified to see a man’s face looking back at me. I was really scared.
My 13-year-old daughter pushed the panic button on our Guardian keypad and the police were here in minutes. They followed the tracks from the window and caught the suspect in the alley at the back of my house. It’s my understanding he was charged with menacing and attempted burglary.
The police were really pleased to take him into custody. They said, between my dog and my Guardian security system, I had a great team.
