Guardian Protection Partners with Minor League Baseball to Become Official Smart Home Security Provider for League

PITTSBURGH – June 5 – Guardian Protection, a leading security solutions provider today announced a new agreement with Minor League Baseball (MiLB) to become their Official Smart Home Security Partner for the league and the Preferred Partner of 13 Minor League clubs across the country.

In conjunction with this partnership, Guardian and MiLB will also team up to support the Joe Torre Safe at Home Foundation which works to provide services to youth who have been traumatized by exposure to violence and empower them to live healthy lives free from violence. For each defensive Caught Stealing or Save from one of the 13 clubs, Guardian will make a donation to the foundation or a local women’s shelter.

“Our core value at Guardian is helping our customers feel safe in their homes and protect what is most important to them,” Vice President of Marketing Kevin Bish commented. “To have the opportunity to partner with MiLB and The Joe Torre Foundation to bring that mission to life in a new and exciting way is something we’re proud to do.”

The three-year deal totals $1M in support across 13 markets where Guardian has a local branch office. Guardian’s brand will be visible throughout the ballparks, on signage, in promotional and publicity campaigns and in league activations and events throughout the season in the following markets:

  • Nashville Sounds (Nashville)
  • Columbus Clippers (Columbus)
  • Trenton Thunder (Trenton, NJ)
  • Akron Rubber Ducks (Cleveland/Youngstown)
  • San Antonio Missions (San Antonio)
  • Frederick Keys (Rockville, MD)
  • Bowie Baysox (Baltimore)
  • Delmarva Shorebirds (Millsboro, DE)
  • Tampa Tarpons (Tampa)
  • Bradenton Marauders (Tampa)
  • Lake County Captains (Cleveland/Youngstown)
  • Wilmington Blue Rocks (Wilmington, DE)
