Need to change the battery on your PowerG Glass Break Detector? Watch the video below for a few additional steps, and then you’re all set!

Follow these steps to replace your PowerG Glass Break Detector’s battery:

  • Log in to your Guardian account.
  • Select System Info and then Test My System.
  • Enter your Verbal Alarm Password to put your system in Test Mode.
  • Remove the device’s cover by pressing on the finger tabs on the top and bottom of the detector (you might need a screwdriver to help with this step).
  • Remove the batteries.
  • Put in the new batteries.
  • Place the cover back on the device.
  • Test your system to make sure your device is now working properly.
  • Take your system out of Test Mode.
