Need to change the battery on your Z-Wave Smart Door Lock? Watch the video below for a few additional steps, and then you’re all set!
Follow these steps to replace your smart lock’s battery:
- Remove the door lock’s cover by sliding it up and off your door lock.
- Locate the battery pack at the top of the door lock. Grip and pull it out.
- Examine the batteries for any abnormalities, and remove the old batteries if there aren’t any.
- Install the new batteries.
- Replace the battery pack with the arrow pointing toward the door and the metal clips at the bottom.
- Replace the cover by sliding it on.
- Log in to your Guardian app and confirm that you can remotely lock and unlock your door lock.
