Triggered duress codes can make all the difference in getting efficient, fast help in an emergency. It can be triggered if you need police but want your system to stay silent. Find out how to access and edit a duress code from your Guardian Protection mobile app by watching the video and/or following the steps below.
- Duress codes are set up during installation and can be found in the Guardian app under Users.
- Tap More.
- Tap Add Duress User.
- Give your duress code a name.
- Tap Create.
- Create an access code and then tap Save.
These duress codes can be triggered in an emergency without bringing attention to potential intruders, as they send a silent signal to our monitoring center, who will then call the police to get you the help you need.
