Install Home Security Flood Sensors

It’s easy to install your new flood sensor! Watch the video below and simply follow the steps.

To install your flood sensor:

  1. Remove the sensor from the box. You should have a transmitter, cable, sensor, double sided tape, and two screws.
  2. Locate the area you would like to place the sensor. Suggested areas include by laundry machines, under sinks, behind a toilet, and near a hot water heater.
  3. Thoroughly clean the area you will be placing the sensor.
  4. Remove the two plastic battery tabs from the transmitter.
  5. Place the double sided tape on the back of the transmitter.
  6. Make sure the cable allows for the sensor to touch the floor or surface area you would like to monitor.
  7. Peel and stick the transmitter to the wall. Hold for 20 seconds.
  8. Put the sensor in place and screw into the wall or use double sided tape.
  9. After installing your sensor, contact Guardian to have your sensor installed into your system. Please email your name, address, and phone number to activate@GuardianProtection.com.
