Do I need a working wired doorbell to get a video doorbell?
No. Guardian Protection offers both a wired model and a battery-powered model. While both require Wi-Fi to operate, the battery-powered model requires no existing wiring. Optionally, add our doorbell chime if you do not have one or would like to have a second chime in an area of your home where you may not readily hear your doorbell. The chime has multi customizable tones and also pairs with a router to serve as a robust Wi-Fi extender.
Does a video doorbell require WiFi?
Yes. Minimum 2.5 Mbps upload and download speed is required at the video doorbell mounting location.
Does the video doorbell have night vision?
Yes, the doorbell has black-and-white night vision to catch any evening events.
