Infant suffers a seizure As a fireman and a father, I welcomed Guardian's fast response, when my 10-month-old daughter had a seizure. The paramedics arrived in a very short period of time after I pressed the Guardian keypad. I was feeding our newborn and our 16-year-old was holding the baby who was running a fever. She began acting abnormally and didn't respond to her name. Then her arms started to twitch and she went into a seizure. I knew the correct procedure was to cool her down with compresses. I gave myself a minute or so for this to be effective and when it wasn't, I put the Guardian response into action. The medics arrived, administered oxygen, and she came out of the seizure. She was hospitalized for about 10 hours and is now fine. I am very pleased with my system and Guardian's rapid response. Kenneth M.
